As we know,there are many types of hatchback cars from various of car manufacturer that we have seen on the road nowadays.Proton has been the most famous car manufacturer in Malaysia since they introduce their first sedan car proton saga and still,they are the favourite amongst all the Malaysian until now.Proton's car is famous because of its cheap and affordable price but their first competitor from perodua is well known not only because of its affordable price,but the quality as well.Perodua are the second largest car manufacturer in Malaysia after Proton.The most famous and highly demand car model from Perodua is the stylish Perodua Myvi.The Perodua Myvi is a subcompact hatchback type manufactured by Perodua since 2005.Based on the second generation Daihatsu Sirion/Boon and Toyota Passo,the Myvi is the result of Perodua's collaboration both Toyota and Daihatsu.The Myvi is the best selling car for four consecutive year since 2006 until 2009 in Malaysia.The launch of the Perodua Myvi was significant as it marked first time Perodua competed head to head with Proton,the first Malaysian national car manufacturer,which would release a similarly classed Proton Savvy.The Myvi beat 1.3cc beat its rival,the Proton Savvy 1.2cc, as the "Car Of The Year 2005/2006" by the Autocar ASEAN, a magazine for car buyers in Malaysia.Observing the strong demand for the Myvi,it boosted sales of vehicles in the country and Perodua's market share in 2006.
